What is Family Campers and RVers? FCRV is an international nonprofit all volunteer family camping organization that includes every kind of camper and every kind of camping gear – from pup tents to the fanciest motor home.

Camping for all ages, young or old. Camping with families, adults or retirees. Chapters camp together on a regular basis to enjoy the benefits of group camping.

The FCRV Mission Statement

To share with all campers/RVers, the FCRV fun, friendship, fellowship and family feelings of camping together and to promote and enhance the experience and enjoyment of recreational family type camping/ RVing.

Connecticut FCRV has six chapters statewide, with about 110 families as members. Most camping is done at the chapter level, with the entire state membership getting together for spring and fall rallies and conservation weekends.

Connecticut FCRV programs include Conservation, Disaster Awareness Training, Youth and Teen activities, and Adult Games.

Additionally, FCRV participates in community-based events, such as Make-A-Wish and the Terryville Lions Club country fair.
